Revlon Lip Butter Bump

For the Australian launch of their colourful Lip Butter range, Revlon wanted an innovative way to drive sampling and hype whilst engaging with a younger 16-24-year-old market.

To achieve this, we launched ‘Revlon Lip Butter Bump’: a unique real-world mobile sampling app to promote conversation around the new Lip Butter range. The app utilised bump technology to reward the first 2,000 users who ‘bumped’ mobiles, with a free full-size pre-release sample of Revlon Lip Butter.

Within 48 hours, all 2,000 Lip Butter samples were claimed, starting over 4,000 real-world conversations that rippled through friends’ social circles. This had a massive halo effect on the Revlon brand, with a 53% increase in traffic to their mobile site.
